Atlanta Pride 2017
Invitation
The UK is one of the most progressive countries in Europe
 for LGBT rights and equality, with more than 60 annual
Pride events held in cities across the UK, and an
additional 16 cities across the US. 
2017 Atlanta Pride marks the fourth year the British Consulate-
General Atlanta will participate in the festivities. In fact, it’s the only
foreign mission in Atlanta to take part. On Sunday, 15 October, join
us for breakfast, the parade march, and a post-parade reception.

Meanwhile, you can enter to win a free #LoveIsGREAT trip to Britain,
where a warm welcome awaits. It features round-trip tickets, six

Note the following itinerary for Atlanta Pride: 
Sunday, 15 October
8:30 Breakfast
Start your day with a light breakfast at TWELVE Centennial Park,
before we head to the staging area near the Marta Civic Center
Station. We’ll provide #LoveIsGREAT t-shirts, which will accompany
our #LoveIsGREAT banners, Pride-themed Union Jack fans, picket
signs, and miscellaneous giveaways that will be distributed during
the parade.

Dress code: Casual and comfortable

On the run-up to Atlanta Pride, the British Consulate-General
Atlanta is also holding a raffle for a chance to win two great prizes:
  1. Two Premium Economy tickets (with upgrades to Upper Class, 
    if space permits) on Virgin Atlantic from the US to the UK, and
  2. Two nights in the Presidential Suite at Hotel Indigo Atlanta - 
    Vinings. 
100% of the proceeds will go to Lost-n-Found Youth, a non-profit
that supports LGBT youth in Atlanta with housing and job skills.
